This digital illustration was painted in Procreate. The idea behind it was to create something playful and a bit unexpected—mixing two visually striking worlds: the elegance and drama of flamenco, and the peculiar, almost theatrical anatomy of a praying mantis. I’ve always found flamenco to be a fascinating art form, full of movement, passion, and attitude. At the same time, the praying mantis has this curious, almost human-like poise when it moves, as if performing. Combining both concepts allowed me to explore rhythm, posture, and character in a humorous yet visually compelling way.
